Every school, every year plays cupcakes. UF and Auburn included, so I don't see the big deal there.

He also has OOC wins against Boise, FSU, Clemson, Purdue, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Mich St, Oklahoma State, Colorado, many against Tech.

Of those 8 OOC losses (out of 50 contests), he has a win against 5 of those same teams. The other 3 are teams that we have only met once, including 1 that was during his first year as a head coach.

Doesn't really look too shabby IMO.

The luster came off UGA ooc in the last couple years - before that they were really pretty good

Maybe Florida would lose an OOC game if they played one outside the state of Florida.

We've lost OOC games in the state of Florida.....vs. Florida St.

If you're trying to bring up the old "Florida hasn't played and OOC game outside of Florida since 1991" fine.....that's because of money. We make more, playing a nobody at home, than we would a mediocre team in another state.

UF always brings up Jax and loss of revenue, well, UGA plays out of state and has a permanent ooc opp and has no money issues....

No it doesn't, I just don't see the point in hanging your hat on a victory over most OOC teams. It's not like it's hard to beat Louisiana-Monroe......

Ok then please don't talk about our OOC record when yours is nowhere to be found. Thanks.

Who, other than you, has mentioned JAX? Last time I checked UF and UGA is a same conference game, thus not part of this conversation.....try to keep up sparky.

The Warhawks punked the Tide. Probably one of the more embarrasing moments for me as an SEC fan. But it's hard to be too embarrased when you are laughing your arse off.

Look up Richt's OOC record. thanks.

Yeah, but he has three really big red flags on said resume. Legitimized WVU with an inexcusable Sugar Bowl loss. Legitimized Boise with an inexcusable season opening loss (in UGA's defense, they did wax them in Athens). Only put a 13 point margin of victory on an FSU team with crippling suspensions and a WR playing QB.

was just saying that usually UF uses Jax as an excuse for losing the revenue from a home game and thats why they cant play out of state or against BCS ooc teams because they cant afford to do home/home

Yes I am. As someone who actually went to the game and knows the circumstances behind it, it was widely believed that UGA was going to obliterate FSU as they didn't have a legit QB on the roster and Musa Smith was a beast. Instead, we were treated to Billy Bennett putting on a kicking expo. I thought Richt was a big offensive guy. It was his old team. Terribly disappointing.
