How many seasons has t.u not become bowl eligible since 2012? Why did you feel the need to chime in a thread involving A&M on a website that has nothing to do with t.u?

Well that’s simply not true, or at least that’s not where the discussion was last left.
Texas requested in 2018, and then ATM AD Scott Woodward turned Texas down citing schedule considerations. So Texas AD Chris Del Conte scheduled Alabama instead.
So either both LSU and ATM “ran,” or neither did.
You ags can discuss amongst yourselves how you want it, because I assure you, no LSU fan cares enough about an alleged contract dispute from 30 years ago like y’all clearly do.

LSU did not offer to continue playing the game. They just bailed out.
At the time A&M made the move to the SEC, A&M offered to continue playing the game annually. Deloss refused because he was butthurt. It’s very clearly documented. So A&M moved on without the game being on the books - and as you know there was significant fallout at the time. Lots of threats, lawsuits, coercion of other Big 12 members not to schedule A&M.
It’s not difficult to understand if you actually want to know.
