Bama losing to VT wouldn't help you win the west.
I think Bama wins a close one. VT is for real. Beamer is a heck of a coach. Going to be a great game. Tough opening game for the tide.

That is the same thing they said last year before Evans took over. The starting TB was kicked off the team.
They have a stable of backs. Remember the name Oglesby and Williams. But more importantly they have the best OL they have had in years.
Bama better not take them lightly. There isn't many college teams better prepared than VT under Beamer and Bud Foster.

Tech did beat LSU 26-8 to open the 2002 season in case some of you forgot that one. It is funny how the only one anybody talks about is 48-7.
