The barn is an annoyance, that occasionally rises up and takes precedence. Like all annoyances, they slink back into their place.

It's always necessary. Any Alabama fan over the age of 15 or so legitimately hates Tennessee. Granted I'd like to see them rebound a bit to make the rivalry better, but like someone else said we can always laugh at their misfortune.
Plus a thread like this is kind of charitable. Knowing we still hate Tennessee makes their fans feel like they're still kind of relevant.
