Yes, relevance?
I truly apologize for wasting our time responding in this thread.
We obviously don't watch the same game, and that's OK, my wife enjoys football too, sometimes.

My statement is dead on. Bama did not shut down LSU in O-T. YES. When it mattered most. I think you are the one who is not very smart. But you are a gump so........

90k posts and you are still confused?
This question was asked
I answered
Do you see your error or do you need further guidance?

If Alabama stopped LSU's running game on 11/5 then what adjectives could we use to describe what the LSU defense did to the vaunted Alabama running game?

Thanks for actually answering the question. Can you explain why that isn't a concern this time around?

I stand corrected.

BTW NICE AVA.

Establishing the run will be a concern for Bama in the game. LSU has a great D, nothing will be easy.
Although, I will say that LSU is even more reliant on the run game than Bama, especially now that JJ is playing full-time. Since both D's have shown the ability to stop the run game, maybe the team that can produce a passing game will have the advantage on O.

good luck to AJ
Yeah he should be fine as long as he doesn't throw it toward Mo, Simon, Reid, or Mahtieu

Did you leave your computer up, and your husband post on your account?
LSU had 150 yards rushing with Lee playing several series. You say 125-200 yards in the rematch. If LSU rushes for 200, and that can be easily assumed given that they had 150 in Tuscaloosa with Jefferson not getting every snap, they win easily.
Anything relevant, yet?

Nice job Max. They did have some funny sh*te going on when I watched the game over a couple of times. The jersey-sleeve takedowns were frickin' hilarious after the fact.

LSU outrushed Alabama on Nov 5 and won the game.
I believe the team with the most rushing yards on Jan 9 wins the game.
I see LSU as having a slight advantage in the running game with more RB depth and a running QB - who showed better ability to gain yards than the 1st QB.
Stats:
Alabama rushing after the first half, Nov 5 = 31 yards on 13 carries for an avg of 2.38 ypr. Outside of the 24 yard run by TR in the 4th, Alabama had 7 yards on 12 carries for 0.58 ypr. in the 2nd half.

Do you really call allowing 150yds, 'shutting down' a running game. Isn't that twice what Bama is allowing versus everyone else?
So LSU really really shut down Bama's running game.
If LSU rushes for 200 yds, they win by 10 points.

If Ware doesn't run for 200 hundred yards in the 1st quarter, I'll be shocked. The pain train is coming to Nawleans boys.
There will not be 200 yards rushing it you combined Nov 5 and Jan 9 with all of LSU's running backs.
Book it!
Bama to kick some Bengal butt!

Maximus the clairvoyant. He was right, we didn't stay within two touchdowns, 21-0.

I think we made Maximus quit. He is a mirror image of his team and his teams coaching staff.

This was posted back when JJ was still popular.
