Vol fans... wow.

Last week you were beating your chest after WKU talking about cracking the top 25.

Now, you're talking about be a rebuilding project this week. Make up your mind.

Kiffin turn away Boyd and then pursued Brunetti, Blake Bell, etc. that are dual threat QBs so your theory is hollow. Brunetti is the same height or shorter than Boyd so don't use that.

Why would Scroggins be afraid to compete with Barkley when he just saw him beat out Aaron Corp? I would think he'd be even more excited about the opportunity to start knowing that Pete Carroll we play the best guy. You Vol fans have been trashing Scroggins since the day he committed to USC so take back to volnation, please.

Fixed it for you:
1. Crompton sucks
2. Fulmer lost his job because he did not recruit a good QB and lacked innovation on offense. I have a lot of respect for Coach Fulmer but I feel he lacked discipline and lost the respect of his players. Fulmer is a fine person but he did underachieve with the level of talent at UT throughout his tenure.

He has to be one of the dumbest looking, least athletic looking qb's in the conference. I saw that dude and his mustache and thought that they had pulled a hillbilly from a porno to run plays.

Dude...chill! He's been working on that for 8 years.

Kiffin's brashness and boasting in January and Febrary was all about getting publicity for the program, and Vols everywhere deemed there was no such thing as bad publicity.

And then we have yesterday's results...and the Vols are coming to terms with all of that "good publicity."

Volnation is a riot today.

Talking out of bothsides of your mouth. Fulmer left you without a QB supposedly, but he had a 4 star lined up that you super coach let go. Sounds like that's on Kiffin to me.

Kiffin didn't'want a 6ft. quarterback with medium arm strength and a torn ACL...Boyd wouldn't have played this year anyway...We got Bray coming and maybe Scroggins..You REALLY don't think Pete Carroll isn't going to stop recruiting Qb's just because he has Barkley, Corp and Now Scroggins do you?..

That doesn't mean a damn thing. He's a headcase of epic proportions, so in spite of the fact that he has the physical attributes necessary in a great quarterback, he lacks the mental toughness. Cutcliffe knew it. Fulmer didn't recognize it, and it cost him his job. Kiffin thinks he can fix Crompton, but he is wrong.

Exactly how would you feel about Les Miles if it had been 10 years since he won an SEC title, and if you were wrapping up your second losing season, had beaten one top 10 team at home, and if you had an 18-14 conference record, all in the last 4 years?

It does appear that UDub got the better of the Petey Carrol jock holders.

Exactly, LSU fans would freak out if they didn't win an SEC championship in five years. We gave Fulmer ten years of mediocrity until we finally had enough.

And now his crap players are getting dominated by weak Pac-10 teams in Neyland Stadium. Give us 2 years. Kiffin might go 6-6 this year but he is recruiting!

so kiffin threw 3 ints (a 4th that got called back on holding) and lost a fumble? NO... jonathan crompton did! when have zero passing game your playbook gets kinda slim. we ran the ball like 46 times! so you cant blame lane for this one. this one is completely on crompton and our terrible offensive line (both fulmers recruits)! so the lane haters should hang it up until they have something better to throw at him.

Someone that wants to play in the NFL. What is the history of SC QB's vs. UT QB's?

You know frankly, I doubt anyone here really cares that you fired fulmer. The firing of fulmer was not the bad move. It was the HIRING of kiffin that was dumb. When their are coaches like (forgive me for not remembering names) the ones at BYU, Utah, BSU, or ECU. Not to mention Gundy at OSU who might move up or gil at buffalo. I'm sure their are more but my point is kiffin was a dumb move.

Try one year. In 2010, Barkley will be a soph and Scroggins will redshirt. In 2011, Barkley will be a junior and Scroggins will back him up. In 2012, Barkley will be gone and Scroggins will start as a sophomore.
