Unfortunately, I don't see Auburn being a big upset team under Chiz.

If this means anything: even in our worst years I still normally maintain a good outlook on the iron bowl because it is the iron bowl. Not this year though. I got a bad bad feeling

Missed the USCe game did we?
The last true upset for AU in this game was 2005. When was the last true upset for Bama in the IB?

I don't consider that game a true upset. USCe sucks, they just somehow keep being ranked, and were ranked higher than we were.

his game is always a toss up. But not this year...
This is not true. Most years the team favored wins. Might be closer than expected, but usually the better team wins.

Yea, I'm afraid what I might do this weekend. I absolutely will not be able to talk on Monday.

2005 wasn't much of an upset. Bama was garbage on offense after Prothro got hurt and that offensive line played especially shitty towards the end of that year. Auburn was statistically the best offense in the S.E.C., and a John Vaughn away from being in Atlanta

Looks like the weather will be terrible. We literally beg for rain for the last several weeks and can't get a sprinkle and of all days to have severe weather it hits on the day of the Iron Bowl. Here is James Spann's forecast.
WEEKEND SEVERE WEATHER THREAT: The system that will impact Alabama this weekend looks very potent, but it is way too early to be specific about the threat. We have to get the mid-week system out of here before we can really focus on this one, but the dynamic support looks very impressive, and a significant severe weather event is very possible. And, considering this is Iron Bowl weekend, and a weekend on which so many people are traveling, we will have to watch this one with an eagle eye.
At this point, it looks like the main window for severe storms in Alabama will come Saturday night, but that could easily change. I don’t even want to speculate about the arrival of the storms in Auburn… best case scenario is that the storms arrive after the Iron Bowl is over (the game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. CST), but on the other hand there is a real chance there could be strong storms or at least showers around Lee County during the game.
