Is he going to come back there tomorrow to be selected in the 2nd round? Assuming no trades here.

A nightmare would be showing up and having your twitter and instagram hacked with videos of you smoking dope, etc posted. At least Levis’s coach isn’t having to hide in the janitor’s closet at the draft.

Final count for the 1st Round

B1G - 9
SEC - 8.5 *
Big 12 - 6
ACC - 4.5 *
PAC 3

* based on whoever said Gibbs should count as an ACC player

Either way, pretty surprising results.

A1abana had the #1, #3, and #12 picks tonight… and not a single thread was started by a Gump…

I think they’ve been broken

First time in the common draft era a round 1 went without a non-Power 5 draftee.

Bengals select Clemson DE Miles Murphy. WHO DEY!

Definitely needed some more pass rush depth. Especially after next year.

Mayer fell right in their laps, and I knew right away they wouldn't take him. Bengals don't do the obvious in Rd 1. But it's working out for them so far.

And to add to my comment. The more I thought about it, the less sense a TE made for Bengals in Rd 1.

They have Chase, Higgins, and Boyd flying around the field already, and have proven they can plug and play any halfway decent TE and get production out of them with defenses focused on the WR triple threat. Why waste a R1 pick on an elite TE?

Shore up other weak spots, rely on Smith Jr. As this years TE de jour, pick up Darnell Washington in the 3rd round for future development. Makes a lot of sense to me.

I think Bengals go:

CB in R2.
TE (Washington) in R3.
RB in R4 (Achane?).

Would be awesome to see Bengals trade up and snag Porter Jr. Near top of R2. Would be a hell of a draft haul overall.

lots of good RB to be bad in 3rd & 4th

Achane
Evans
Miller
Bigsby
Roschon
and a couple more

They should be able to get one of them there. That’s a solid draft plan.
