Don't think so but it could be. I found it on another site, cause I didn't want to do the research myself.
Woodruff also said Calloway didn't blossom as a player until his senior year. I guess Bama just took a blind shot in the dark when they took his commitment his sophomore year.

I said it in a previous post. I don't think AU did anything nefarious, they simply told him he would be a RB...and that they love him and he is family and all that recruiting bullshite. Young kid like what he heard and flipped. He went back to UA before signing day and saw why he committed to UA in the first place. End of story. Everything else is just message board 95% hot board bullshite.

You may be right. Its just weird that he wasn't planning on even going to Tuscaloosa until Woodruff took him to Florida for a few days. There was obvious pressure from people close to him. Whether he got paid or not is a different story.
All I'm saying is that so far they have changed their story multiple times.

I agree with this ^
Just Jeff Lee pointing fingers because AU has been on the hot seat and he and his followers blame everyone but AU.

He should have to provide the proof or make a public apology. These things just should not be that hard to prove if true. Provide the paper work or stop it. He accomplished exactly what he wanted to, and that was to take Auburn out of the news.
I assume that you feel the same about Cam? I have yet to see any proof of anything except that Cecil asked MSU for money. Should ESPN apologize since they cant prove Cam ever said "the money was too much"? What about Thayer with the cheating at Florida alegations? Even the university said he was never scheduled to go in front of review committee.
edit: While we are on apologies, lets not forget HBO and the 4 douches since they can't prove anything either

What kind of proof do you want? Didn't he ADMIT to it? But, by the grace of God, Cam didn't know about it.

The proof is in the Bishop's pudding.
Cecil admitted that he whored out his son.
OTOH, Cam was run through the mud for weeks for just being the son of Cecil. Oh, and because he stole a laptop while at FLA.
I don't think Cam wants or expects an apology - hell, his fame came in a large part from the media attention he received, he said himself that he's now an icon. Cam loves attention any way he can get it.

That would be weird except that he went to Tuscaloosa first, Peaches got cussed out by Goodwin, then they decided to let Brent go with Woodruff to P'cola to get away from Goodwin blowin' up his phone.
quote:
Woodruff said he believes the deciding factor in Calloway’s decision to switch back to Alabama came on the weekend before signing day when he was on a visit to Alabama with Winston.
“Coach Goodwin called Peaches and just ran him down saying that he was pressuring Brent to go to Alabama. That was right in front of Brent and the Alabama coaches. Peaches is Brent’s daddy. I think that stuck with him more than anything.”
It was after this alleged confrontation that Winston asked Woodruff to take Calloway out of town with him.
“Brent was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and Peaches didn’t want Brent coming back to school and having to hear from Coach Goodwin,” Woodruff said. “Goodwin was angry that Brent went on a visit to Alabama that weekend. I think that was a pretty decisive moment because Brent heard the way Goodwin was talking to Peaches.
“If someone is recruiting your son and his high school coach is calling you telling you what you should and shouldn’t do, that would make anybody upset.”

Auburn and it's players or family brought on everything they've faced the last few months. Why yall continue to blame Bama is curious. Why a former Auburn beat writer(Scarbinsky), a current Auburn recruiter(Lee) and Auburn booster(Stancil) and former Au grad(Goodwin) felt a need to fabricate something on Bama, I still don't quite understand, especially the take by many Au fans who feel it's retribution for something that Bama has done against Auburn, when they've done nothing. Every negative aspect about Auburn since last November has come from independent, out of state sources.

Not sure you are correct on this statement. I don't blame bama for anything. In fact I am tired of all this back and forth BS. I also disagree with the premise that Auburn brought it on themselves, and in fact nothing has happened to Auburn other then some bad press here and there.
If somewhere down the road something is found and we get penalized than we will see what happens. My life continues and although disappointment and wanting changes not much will effect me if the HAMMER comes down.
Let the nut fringe fight this out as for me I have fun with it and give ya'll a hard time in jest. I don't hate another fan base or school waiting for something bad too happen to them. In fact I love football for the game and if LSU, Bama, Florida, Arkansas, etc play an impressive style of football I enjoy watching it. I will cheer every SEC team to win when playing outside of conference. At the end of the day it is just sports and how we perform or how many championships we win do not define me. I enjoy the success and want to win it all, but life goes on if we don't.
I enjoy the fun ribbing and smack talk, but the nastiness and the looking for any story to shed a negative light on another school is complete and utter BS.
With all that said I can only speak for myself, but I would bet there are other fans who feel the same. I hope.
