This draft sure makes it clear how tough it is in the SEC.

Auburn will eventually have someone drafted...... I guess

This reminds me of a Tennessee fan friend before the 2004 season. He was telling me how much better than us they would be based on who got drafted the previous year. My attempts to explain that having your best players leave doesn't make the current team better fell on deaf ears.

I won money from the drunken bet that was made that night and still make fun of him.

71 picks in, Auburn and Tennessee are still on the board.

Anyone have insight on Lonnie Johnson Jr.?

Good size (6'2" 213) and speed (4.52 combine, 4.39 pro day) long arms, and solid coverage skills; but deflections and interceptions (just 1 pick in 2 years at Kentucky (JUCO transfer)) lag for his measurables, struggles locating the ball. Needs to improve in run support. Head hunting hitter, not a fundamentally strong tackler.

Showed improvement with coaching and appears willing to learn. Has the size and athletic ability to be a really good NFL corner if he learns to be better at finding the ball in the air and improves his tackling technique.

Depending on where the Super Bowl is played this year, he might play in an away game there

NFL scouts loved him for his size and speed and willingness to tackle. He was our dime and or nickel guy. Still very raw, they'll have to coach him up but he's got all the physical tools.

He also turned a lot of heads at the Senior bowl so that helped too
