It will either be a Interim or McGee imo for us imo.
McGee knows the playbook, players, admin. Its almost too easy of a choice instead of bringing in a brand new HC with only the summer to implement the playbook.
eta: and it would be nice to have a coach that doesn't throw temper tantrums on the sidelines.

More than likely McGee's agent is hammering out an ironclad deal with Long, the AD and Garrick have a prior working relationship and really do not need a 'get to know you' interview

You do not want a mediocre head coach. If you settle for a coach instead of going after the best there is than you will always have an SEC mediocre team. LSU & Bamma go after the best there is, not the best they can get. They pulled Saban away from the Dolphins. Pay big money and get your national championship.
