Wasn't Missouri at least middle of the pack in Big 12? That isn't terrible. Might be a stretch to say they are in the southeast but culturally they probably are, outside of parts of St. Louis.

I was only responding to the Missour vs SC premise.
Missouri and Texas AM have shown they can play in SEC. I think any college that joins SEC will get a boost in their recruiting too, just because of all the ESPN hype.
I think Clemson would be unreal in football if it was in SEC. Clemson getting good players like CJ Spiller and Sammy Watkins and our QB Watson out of heavily recruited states like Florida and Georgia.

I'd rank Arky no. 1. They used to pretty solid program, texas am a close 2nd, mizzou a distant 3rd if we can consider Missouri the southeast, then SC way on down the list. SC really is the worse big school football program if you look at their historic win/loss. They ranked like in 80-90 range.
I think a case could be made Arky seems more like Big 12 school, just in terms of Oklahoma colleges seeming like natural rivals, right across the Ozarks. and I think they have flirted with the idea of going to the big 12.

I would say at this point USCe and arkie both feel SEC. USCe always impressed me when they generated great home crowds for such bad football.
Of the newcomers you got to go with Mizzou then A&M.

I think SC football culture is kind of uncomfortable , all these people chanting go cocks, and wear shirts like I'm a Cockstar. I've seen some really perverted SC and even Clemson shirts making the sexual references. I am proud to say that I never wore a shirt with the word cock on it. lol
I grew up in SC and didn't consider SC for college because I don't want to hear and see that word all the time.
SC fans better hope feminists and fabulists like Lena Dunham never start thinking about this. lol

Be careful y'all.... There's a closet Clemson fan in this thread. This guy is so hung up on SC it makes my arse itch. Didn't y'all win in November?

He was the ULTIMATE troll master. Nobody holds a candle to his jimmy-rustling abilities. One of my fave QB's at SCar.

Taneyhill didn't do it with words. He did it with actions. If that dumbass tater fan that keeps posting in this thread is a true clemson fan, he should know of Taneyhill's oh-so-sweet desecration of their beloved tiger paw on their field, in their house. It was glorious.

I would argue either all of them "feel" like an SEC team... because, you know, they are members of the SEC, or none of them feel like an authentic SEC team because all 4 cared enough about their bowl games to win them.
As far as the states go Arkansas and South Carolina are both heavily Southern, at least until you get into the Ozark mountans where there is a distinct Midwest feel to the area. Mizzou is semi Midwest, semi Southern, and semi Great Plains. A&M is Texas as frick. Not quite a Southern vibe but close.
