None of these people gave a shite about the Panthers when they were under .500 last year. They only care about them this year because Cam is beating up on a bunch of below-500 teams. And they'll start talking about some minor-league baseball player once Cam gets knocked out in round 1.

If they had won the game, it would have been a travesty that he wasn't thrown. But they didn't, so I'd say just hit him with the suspension and don't dwell too much on the officiating other than to hope they make that call next time a player behaves that way.

The reason I say that, it wasn't a football play. He went out of his way to head hunt. No room for that in any game. Could have hurt Norman severely also. Plus, OBJ was a punk the entire game. He needed a serious arse kicking.

Not denying he screwed up big-time in that game, and probably should have been hit with fines too. My reasoning, though, is that it was one bad game and should get a commensurate penalty. If he shows a pattern, then you bring the hammer down. I suspect he won't be repeating that performance any time soon, which is the purpose of the suspension.
