For baseball? That's stupid.

A baseball coach making more than twice the school president is an upside down world.

Private funds are paying the majority of that salary…

Good move by MSU, imo. It signals they are all in on baseball, a sport where they can compete for a title and bring some pride to the school.

Worth it. He’s a top 5 coach and that’s a top 5 salary. Baseball means nearly as much as football to our fan base…more to some

Does 10,000 people pay money to watch the school president work in his office?

It’s a luxury to have the best coach in the country begging to work for you at half that price tag.

Let’s hope he doesn’t miss the NCAAT two years in a row.

Lemonis was a top 15 salary and probably isn’t a top 40 coach. We have signaled our intention to compete nationally. Football may suffer, but that’s a losing battle when trying to retain 85+ players in the NIL Wild West era.

We just went all-in with a top 5 baseball coach that has ties to ELITE talent and resources. We will have scuffles with other committed programs, but you are not there and will never be. This baseball rivalry is about to get even more lopsided than 8 of 9 series wins over the last 9 or whatever it is. We just went all-in on a proven, elite winner that is connected, motivated, and has the trophy case to back it up.
