its all good. copied from the thread.

From Houston Nutt:
quote:

Found this on another board. Nutt taking credit for our passing game

Q: What are your thoughts on Arkansas and how they are dangerous?

Colonel Reb: Ryan Mallett is playing as well as anyone in the league right now. I had him in my camp since the 6th grade and I know how well he can throw. He can really throw it, probably better than Bradford and McCoy as far as just throwing the ball. He's so accurate and he has good receivers that we signed when we were there. They are more comfortable in the system in their second year, but it starts with Mallett.

Q: Talk about your recruiting effort with him.

Colonel Reb: We would have signed him but we went the Mitch Mustain route so he went to Michigan. We felt he would leave Michigan though and would come back home after a year at Michigan.

Pioneer you know by now Nutt is going to spin this thing to make it look like no matter what happens, it's his old players vs his new players. He's got a ton of recruits still playing a major amount of minutes for Ark and built a very good 08 class that Petrino mostly locked down.

I'd say it's a game Nutt really can't lose either way. If he does lose on the scoreboard he'll be talking about how he recruited those players so get ready. I do think there is some merit to it. I do think once his players are gone we'll be worst than Kentucky.

well I hope I am wrong. I know KY totally out recruited him in-state when he was at Louisville.

I just don't think he can recruit like Nutt and we'll have NOTHING in a couple years.

now that Petrino's upperclassmen have taken over KY has won 3 straight games against them. Petrino beat them with someone elses players, particuarly prop 48's that the SEC won't allow.

Petrino turned Louisville in to garbage folks. that's why he left so quick.

he was trying to get out of there the first year he had the job according to the Pat Forde article. He interviewed everywhere but didn't get hired until after 4 years of winning with the previous coaches players. Even his first recruit class was built by the last coach. He just saved it. So, I guess he gets credit for it but out of years 04,05,06 he didn't recruit very well. No one from the defensive side got drafted and he won with a ton of future NFL defensive recruits and prop 48's.

He's just not a recruiter. His coordinator of recruiting was an HDN holdover.

Brohm was forced on Kragethorpe and so were a lot of other assistant coaches. That's part of the reason Louisville has been in such disaray.

BTW, I'm obsessed with your avatar.

To answer your question Brohm did not come to Ark, nor is he at Louisville any longer.

You have also said:
1)Darius Winston wouldn't qualify/come to arkansas
2)Ole miss would beat South Carolina/Alabama
3)Said you wouldn't post on this board again
4)Said we would lose to missouri State

and i'm sure i'm missing quite a few.

Even as a graduate and former employee of the SMS/Missouri State Athletic department I never would have made this statement.
