Maybe. We have shot but its dependent on too many ifs IMO. I would like us to play tougher than the last couple of years.

Lots of Gator love. Beating a team that went 6-6 last year with a new coach and a team that went 5-7 last year head coached by Dooley still doesn't convince me they can block, have playmakers at WR, or show toughness against physically superior teams.

We'll see. This thread may end up looking stupid, but I can't imagine them doing better than 2-2.

LSU - L
SC - tossup
Vandy - W
UGA - tossup

I say 2-2 with wins over Vandy and USCe

Over

Putting the O/U at 2.5 would've been more compelling.

The thing is it's hard for any team to really be flat-out "physically superior" to UF. LSU's D-line probably is, but UF's line has looked good too. (at points, inb4 A&M game)

This team is physically and CERTAINLY mentally tougher than last year. 3-1 would shock me as much as 1-3. 2-2 is most likely because I can't see losing to both UGA and SC.

man down, man up. but I hope we can shake the injury bug this season.

I don't think recent history and the strength of the schedule sets that up. I, personally, think the debate should be between one and two wins. But, like usual, UF is over-hyped after beating Tennessee.

They were undefeated the last two Septembers before going 1-7 in October (and even had their bye weeks in October the last two years).

2-2

Losses: LSU, UGA
Wins: Vandy, USC

LSU is just too good. They don't lose to Vandy.

Maybe it is just Red and Black colored glasses, but this is the first year in a while, when both teams look good, that I have felt like UGA will win this game. So far, we haven't had an early season loss like has been normal and I think we'll be hitting our stride. I know UF has had our number for over two decades, but I just feel differently about this one than I have in a while.

I think USC is much like the UGA game, pretty een match, but I just don't see the Gamecocks making it three in a row. Eh.

4-0 and prepare yourself LSU...you will lose in a few weeks....but good news is that it may help you beat Bama....you know, the backs to the wall etc etc

Physically superior probably wasn't the right way to put it. I think LSU's and SC's defensive lines will eat up the Gator offensive line. And Jarvis Jones will probably be in the Gator backfield a lot.

Also, playing these four physical teams in a row will probably lead to some injuries yall aren't taking into account (take a look back at the damage Bama and LSU did on back-to-back weeks to the Gators last year).

This sounds familiar. I feel as though I said this a lot this weekend except instead of red and black it was orange and white. I hate my life.

And their current coach is 0-1. If we're talking abt past coaches no longer at the school let's bring up dooleys record against Florida too!

Reel, since UG and LSU are, on paper, our two toughest foes, and you have us winning both, are we going undefeated?
