O hired Pelini so he could have someone to fire when err'one started coming after him for dropping games to State and Mizzou. 4D O is playing.

He wanted an attacking 4-3 scheme where the DL controlled the game attacking the ball versus holding the blocks for the linebackers to clean up. He doesn't have those type linemen this year.

Nah. A smart man would hire a DC that wouldn't cause those losses. Since O hired Bo and let him do that, O shares the blame.

I thought Pelini was a good hire,and may have been the best available,but my opinion was based on name recognition and experience more than anything else.In other words what the hell do I know.
