I hate to see these kids making stupid decisions like this. Especially when they could have done so much better.

Now, having said that, at Kiffin and Tennessee.

Maybe in Alabama they don't know the definition of a deadly weapon.

An aggravated robbery can come in one of two ways. First, if a robbery is accomplished with a deadly weapon, or displaying something that appears to be a deadly weapon, then the offense is aggravated robbery.

Class B felony.

Maybe you don't know what the frick you are talking about.

Jackson had started in all but two games this season for the Vols and had emerged as one of the better freshman players in the SEC. He was suspended for last week's Memphis Tigers game for what Kiffin said was a violation of team rules. According to two sources, that suspension came on the heels of a failed drug test.

Such a model citizen. I hope the DA takes it easy on him.

Ironic that this happens right after these comments.

Sad, but it certainly looks like the pieces could fit in neededing $$$ to score another hit.

Sad.

What a shame.

Was only a matter of time until Kiffin started rubbing off on these kids.

Remember, Lane believes any publicity that puts UT in the spotlight is good because it keeps UT on people's minds.

If LSUFreek happens to be reading this thread, I suggest the clip from "Road to Rupert" where Stewie and Brian use the flare gun/starter pistol to carjack the guy.

just curious; i saw it was a semi automatic pellet gun. is this still federal pound me in the arse prison?

As SFP said, people don't go to federal prison for breaking a state law. They are, however, facing very serious felony charges from the state of Tennessee. But, in all likelihood, they will plead to something or get Youthful Offender status, and not face a huge amount of time.

The pellet gun thing is irrelevant. They held themselves out as it being a real gun, and what is important is that the victim thought it was real. It probably will factor in to the DA's decision whether or not to be a hard arse, though.

I can just hear the witness that got robbed now. "Well, one of them was kinda black, but not really all black, you know what I mean? And another one was wearing a t-shirt that said Volunteer Football and had the number 7 on it."

How big of a UT fan the prosecuter is along with how much money the University puts up will determine how much of a hard arse he will be.
