Yes, yes it does. New system? Growing pains. New QB to system? Growing pains.

I agree it matters. I was being silly.

I really hope JJ ends up being another Jason Campbell - meaning he gets the right system in his senior year and something just clicks for him.

He played really well down the stretch, so there is reason to believe that is possible.

And if he can't do it....frick him. Bring on Mettenberger.

My friend.. if you want to see pain.. look at our offense for the last two years. Ban bet that our offense improves statistically?

My year to your month

LSU is going to have a QB next year

who has never taken a snap in a 1A game, and was 2nd string at his former school.

I hope the guy does awesome at LSU, but he hasn't proven shite yet.

don't count out jefferson.. he'll most likely have a QB coach for the first time in his career

I don't even like this word, but you sound butthurt over Mettenberger.

He and Murray were neck and neck. The QB job hadn't been won at the time he got kicked off the team. But nice revisionist history there.

I know you have your team's pride to defend, but the truth is that your coach is an idiot.

Offense improves statistically? Sure, that might happen. There will be stuggles with a new offense that will cost you games though, which is the real question - not statistics.

I would do a ban bet on LSU's offense not being good enough to beat Alabama's defense next November, not on meaningless statistics though.

That doesn't make a lick of sense. If Murray had a 30% comp. percentage and threw 4 TDs/28 Int I would be upset. But we have arguably the best returning QB in the SEC, and we have him 3 more years. Why would I be "butthurt" over losing our backup?

It's not revisionist history, it's truth. Mettenberger was never going to be our starter. But of course, every Joe Fan who knows more than our coaching staff got to see Mettenberger play well in a televised practice game, so of course that was the sole factor involved. Murray was always going to start this year.

And if Mett had stayed on the team people would say Richt is soft and UGA is a thug school that is out of control. The guy can't do anything right apparently.

Okay? We are talking about next year, try to keep up.

So, are you in on the bet? We can revisit later if you'd like.

No, I don't do ban bets. All I do is talk shite with no repercussions whatsoever.
