You'd've thought LSU would've shelled out more $$$ to Brady in order to keep him. Nope.

You do know we couldn't legally hold him as our prisoner if he wanted to return to the NFL, right?

No hard feelings towards Joe. He did a great job for us (as you should well know ) and laid the groundwork for us, moving forward.

I wish him the best in the league- except against the Saints.

Now we know why Joe Brady left LSU
Money, or the lack thereof. At LSU.

Clemson now has the highest paid coaching staff in the nation. You'd've thought LSU would've shelled out more $$$ to Brady in order to keep him. Nope.

Despite the loss to LSU, Clemson aims to KEEP their staff by giving huge pay increases.

So, YOU were there in the room when the Carolina Panthers offered Brady AN NFL OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR'S job, to RETURN to the NFL, this time as an OC.
Gotcha.

And you were also in the room when LSU offered Brady a higher than average college OC's salary - AND HE WASN'T EVEN THE LSU OC - that's Steve Ensminger, who already makes a hefty salary.
Gotcha.

It wasn't about money, it was about a chance to go BACK to the PROS at age 30 AS A COORDINATOR.
Do you think any of CLEMSON'S assistants were offered NFL COORDINATOR'S jobs ?????????

Judging by his scheme on January 13, I would suggest that Venables is overpaid

You should find out how much it'll cost UGA to win a natty. It's probably somewhere around $198,000
