highly doubt she will keep the job for more than one reason.. Everyone at the office might look at her a bit funny. Not a safe work environment anymore thats for sure. Some of these hog fans might kneecap her arse on the way to lunch.

They can't fire her without risking a sexual harassment lawsuit. They'll buy her out.

Let her stay. Give her nothing of importance to do. What harm can she do? Let the misery set in and she will leave on her own. Cheapest way out for UofA.

Doubt it...not likely she will keep the position that Petrino gave her over those 158 other applicants. More likely that position will be reopened to avoid a lawsuit. Jessica might be given another job different to avoid being fired, but at this point the possible damages from lawsuits with those 158 that were passed over is larger that the damage of a lawsuit from Jessica if she is removed from a job she was unfairly given.

No No, they have every right to fire her now. They couldn't touch her while Petrino was still employed there. Now that he is gone they have every right right to punish her for an inappropriate relationship. She could only use that card if he was retained and they tried to fire or move her. Trust me on that, I haven't been wrong yet about any of this. 2 consecutive years on a state agency's grievance committee I knew the EEOC laws as well as our lawyer did.

You might be correct on the right to fire her but prudence would dictate that you don't. She is harmless (no computer, no email, no telephone in her office), etc., etc. I learned from the master of getting rid of folks without damage.
