You are spending way too much time in those Bourbon Street bars. Better head back to BR before you totally lose it

Everyone who brags on their team lives in the past dumb-dumb. They brag on games that have already happened.

I’m sure that’s a popular thing to do at a place like LSU. Truly elite programs are looking to the future, not reliving the past. It’s 2023 and that’s what matters. Not some obscure game from years ago.

Is that why UGA fans talk shite all the time about their past two national championships (which they clearly deserved)?

We don’t talk about games that happened years ago unless one of our disgruntled rivals brings it up. Since you are so into history I could talk about my favorite UGA/LSU game when LSU came into Athens with disgraced and dismissed Zac Metterberger as their QB. It was a fun fun day. For Georgia.
But I prefer to discuss recent games. Georgia doesn’t live in the past.
Since LSU has nothing much to celebrate - other than a West title which gave them the honor of having 50 laid on them and their QB being held up and slung around like a rag doll by Georgia, I guess it’s understandable that they do.

A good time to circle back to Desmond Howard's playoff 4 from last year.

It’s hard to not appreciate a team that wins back to back natties. Something you just wouldn’t understand.

1 - UGA (13-0, SEC champ)
2 - Ohio State (12-1, Big 10 champ)
3 - Oregon (12-1, Pac 12 champ)
4 - Alabama (11-1, SEC West runner up)

LSU beats Bama, loses to FSU and Ole Miss, then to UGA in the SECCG. All the other conference champions have 2 losses.

Committee is okay with SEC teams in 1 and 4 spots since they didn't play in the regular season.

UGA beats Bama in a last second or OT type game. Oregon surprises people and shuts down OSU. UGA beats Oregon by 14 (where Oregon scores late to make it look closer than it was)

My dream playoff if I could pick would be

1) UGA
2) USC
3) Texas
4) Penn State

For a couple reasons. First, it gives us a repeat of some outstanding historical bowl matchups, in the exact same locations no less. USC/Texas in the rose bowl in a redo of the 2005 all time classic, and UGA/Penn State in the sugar bowl in a rematch of the '82 game that cost UGA it's 2nd national title in a 3 year span. Plus you get the added bonus of having three brand new teams that haven't been to the playoffs before, and new playoff teams is always a good thing.

I agree. I also stated that is living in the past as well. Same as LSU fans fielding the best CFB team in history in 2019. Something UGA fans wouldn’t understand either.

Oh but Georgia does live in the past because it is presently not football season yet. So bragging about your past two seasons is really no different than us bragging about the fact that we have more national titles than you do.

My dream playoff would be AU vs Oregon in NOLA and UGA vs. Penn St in the Rose bowl.

AU vs. Bo Nix would be a cool story and then winning a rematch against UGA or possibly redeeming their selves for the potato crew’s failure against Penn St would be icing on the cake.

Realistic predictions I would say UGA vs FSU and USC vs Michigan.

Nope.

UGA won the title the last season.

UGA wins every off season.

And UGA is #1 in the upcoming season.

We're the best. Past. Present. Future. It's all dawg.

Extremely non-committal, but three of the teams will come from the group of UGA, Bama, LSU, OSU, Michigan and Penn St. Of those six, LSU is the least likely to make it.

The fourth will be USC and one of those six teams above will score 50 plus points and beat the every living dogshit out of them in the first round.
