Be honest..........do you think Bill Clark turned Auburn down? He made right around $1M this year.

The sad part of it all is probably does believe it. This even though Bill Clark wasn’t even given so much as an interview. In his pathetic little mind he believes anything that’s negative about Auburn no matter how absurd.

Harsin is an established and fairly successful HC.

I'll give him a season at Auburn before I start pooping on him.

Are there some concerns? He might not be the greatest recruiter and he might not be able to fill his staff the way he wants. We will see. If he runs the offense he was running at Boise it might take him some time to get the O-Line where he would like it.

You roll the dice anytime you hire a new HC. Nick Saban wasn't setting the world on fire at Michigan State when LSU poached him and now he's the greatest coach of the modern era. Bert looked like the home run hire of the decade when Arkansas signed him... and he left us as a dumpster fire.

Bill Clark details talk with Auburn, what happened

UAB coach Bill Clark said he entertained the idea of becoming Auburn's next leader of the football program, but feels like his future is with the Blazers and appreciates the opportunity he had to interview on the Plains.

Auburn announced Boise State's Bryan Harsin as its new head coach this week, ending the search after several others, including Clark, pulled their names out of consideration.

"I basically said the interest I would have is to do it right and everybody has their own version of what right is, for me, is complete control of my staff and all those things that go with it," Clark said. "I think maybe that was a hinderance.

Honestly. If Auburn really did get their first choice, what took them so long to sign him?

Yes, Auburn wanted to interview Sark. He turned it down. Yes, Auburn interviewed Napier.

Auburn even interviewed other candidates. Interviewing somebody doesn't mean you were offered the job. Hell, if you hire the first person you interview, you are not doing your due diligence in any profession. That's just lazy.............unless she is hot as hell and takes dicktation. (SWIDT?)
