Looked it up. 4 times Alabama did not play a top 25 team the first 2 weeks. Texas, Virginia tech, duke, and Louisville since sabans 2nd year.
2020 was conference games only.
Many times it was a top 10 or top 20. Hate on them but not for scheduling.

Lincoln is a great coach. The media is riding his nuts because he's one of the most notable coaches at a blue blood in one of the largest media markets.

Riley is starting a QB that Clay Helton recruited. Things don't seem to be going smoothly at this point.
