I thought after 2001, UT was never the most talented squad in the SEC. However, they got so many luck breaks and fluke wins. It infuriated me. I still wouldn't pull for them in the 2004 SEC title game though. Even with AU getting their first SEC title since 1988.

That's exactly what I thought. I only started pulling for Tennessee against Auburn in the past couple of years though. It's just temporary, I think. I would see Fulmer with those smug almost losses, and so when he finally started losing, I just thought it had finally caught up with him.
Auburn has had a bit of that kind of luck recently, IMO.

The 2003 Alabama-Tennessee game still haunts me. I still have nightmares about it. 4th and 17...4th and 17...

A juco turning out to be superman is pretty good. Hopefully that'll cross over to LSU.

I still remember singing the alternative verse to "Rocky Top", over and over, after the 2005 game in Cheap Shots on The Strip.
"Rocky Top, You'll never mean a God damn thing to me. frick you Rocky Top, Go to Hell Tennessee!!!"

Nightmares. Nightmares.
We had them beat. They were down to a 4th and long conversion with seconds left. Kines plays a prevent defense and they convert. The defense is shocked and they score. We lost in five overtimes to them.

If LSU is going to do it, this would be as easy a year as any, at least with the schedule.

Ok, I remember all those OT's. I was rooting pretty hard for Bama that game too.

I just went back and looked at all of those scores of close games that they won by like 3 points.

I sat in disbelief in the student section. I didn't move for 30 minutes after that game ended.

Shula was the luckiest SOB ever in 2005. At the expense of Prothro and Croyle.

The 2003 Alabama defense was one of the worst in Alabama history. Truly pathetic.

This is bringing me down. Let's talk about 2007.
