Good hire but Texas is in the final 4 right now if they didn’t screw up by firing Beard. He would have made y’all a perennial contender just like he did at Tech.

Can Beard coach and out together a contender? 100% yes.. I loved him as a coach.
But I’d rather Texas quit the sport of men’s basketball than to keep a guy that abuses women. I don’t care if she changed her story when she realized the consequences.. he definitely put his hands on her, and she decided to call the cops on him. Even if she is a crazy fricking bitch, that’s his fault too for staying with her up to that point.
But yes.. dude can coach. It just won’t be at Texas and I’m ok with that.
