Not understanding why Lane would hold OM hostage

Huge money on the table from OM

Why string them along? To squeeze more money out of them?

I don’t get it

Guy has his program humming along and he decides to throw a wrench into it on his own volition?


This guy may have a suicide pact with regard to his career.

I think it’s more Sexton than Lane personally. Yeah Lane has the power to end it all but I think he’s letting Sexton run the whole show. I think the “sign by the Egg Bowl” is more of an ultimatum to Sexton than it is Lane

Im sure. Sexton is just doing his job and the market dictates it. As long as our stupid arse AD's keep agreeing to those insane contracts then why not i suppose but my god that dude is incredibly unlikeable unless youre a highly sought after coach. Which he seems to represent every damn one.
