Texas: @Michigan, vs MSST, vs OU (neutral)
A&M: vs ND (>Michigan), at Florida (>MSST), vs Arkansas (>OU), vs Missouri (P4 SE

Maybe don't play FCS teams....

Arkansas. Notre Dame.

One of those teams beat an over hyped Tenner team (solid win but that's all they've done). The other lost to NIU.

McNeese + BG does not make up for ULM, UTSA, and CO State.

BG is 2-4 and gave y'all a serious run for your money. McNeese is a FCS team which will always make your SOS weaker than scheduling almost any FBS teams.

Yes, but BG also gave PSU a serious run for their money.

Combined winning percentage of A&M's P4 opponents: 15-7, 68%
Combined winning percentage of Texas' P4 opponents: 9-9, 50%.

Are you making the argument that Texas A&M > Texas?

No, I'm making the argument that A&M's schedule has been much harder than Texas' through Week 7.

Were they, they almost lost to several very very bad teams

And then they got destroyed by Washington in their bowl game

It's like you guys never watch college football. You're all that 10 second Tom guy from 50 blind dates. Every season, you suddenly think every past champion won every game 100-0.

Almost losing is not the same thing as losing. In fact, it's extremely different.

PSU is also consistently way over ranked... and they're 2-4.

You're considering Notre Dame ( consistently over ranked much like PSU), P4?

Yes. They're wiping out P4 teams (admittedly bad ones, but that's what good P4 teams do to each other sometimes).

31-37 is "destroyed"?

Who is the best looking team in the country right now then?

Texas is, but they're playing against crap competition.

Beat Georgia by 2+ scores, and the "Texas is overhyped" narrative should stop.

And Texas is blowing out P4 teams with a winning record, not 2-4 Stanford and 1-5 Purdue. So obviously if ND is good, Texas must be great!

Nobody said Texas wasn't good.

No but you basically just said that ND's competition didn't matter. So Texas' also must not matter.

Yes, it's a response thread. I don't think that was a mystery.

No...I didn't.

My argument: A&M's SOS through 6 games has been significantly tougher than Texas'. Agree or disagree?

Their schedule is fine imo. If they struggle with the schedule ahead then it will show and correct itself. But that’s why they have hype.

But context, dude. Do you disagree with any of my points about A&M's P4 teams being tougher opponents than Texas's?

You're just cherry picking data. Like Notre Dame lost to a really bad team. Michigan has 2 losses, but they also have the 6th most difficult schedule and one of those losses is to Texas.

If Notre Dame had lost to Texas A&M, are they still better than Michigan?

So basically, your "tougher schedule" is based on the fact that you lost and Texas didn't.
