why is that funny?
depression, delusion and humiliation come with defeat, why is that a problem?
Ryan Mallet comes out of the locker room after a horse-collar tackle took him out with a SHOWTIME shirt on. If our team was as good as they thought they are then we would be undefeated. Win football games, stop talking trash and play football. We have too many egos and SHOWTIME,,,,, who can not produce, I would start Tyler Wilson if I was BP

Whenever anyone talks in 3rd person, I think it's hilarious.
I do not disagree with this.

Better yet, funny how it's always this same crew.

quote:Why is it that this only seems to come up in games that AU wins? Can someone point out to me any obvious calls that went Auburn's way in the 2008 loss in JHS to LSU? What about in the Iron Bowl last year? What obvious bad calls helped Auburn in that one?
You are playing the Tigers and the refs when you play a game there.

Same as playing LSU in TS I guess. The refs took us out of the game early last year by spotting LSU a couple of TDs and calling back every big gain we got. Then in 2007, we got jobbed pretty good in the 4th quarter.

Let's face it, the SEC refs suck all the way around.
It's my sincere hope that Auburn fans remember what this is like before they start talking about the "SEC office in Bammerham" again.
Welcome to the club, brah.

I hoesty do not buy into ANY consipiracy theories. I think if any team consistantly gets teh benefit of calls, I think it is Bama, but I do not think it is an intentional premeditated plan or trying to influence the outcome of the game.

Honestly, looking at the common denominators in all of these incidents, too many of them end at the feet of Penn Wagers.
I think the mistakes are simply incompetence. Who benefits is based on chance.

I say BS. The SEC intentional gives the undefeated teams the calls in a game. I mean in this league every other team could and do beat up each other on a weekly basis. Do I think we would have won, probably not but the game would have been a lot closer and we would have had the momentum instead of the refs boosting Auburn momentum along the whole game. It was not just the bad calls it was the timing of them right when they would have made the difference in the game for us. They knew what they were doing and it sucked. I say they FIRE them all and use NFL or professional referees then us FANS would not be as pissed off all the time when their obvious bull shite calls come up. Also, I do not think anyone from the states that are playing should be allowed to referee a game. If we have to hire all Yankees from the ACC then so be it.

Provide some hard evidence other than your weaksauce opinion and circumstantial bullshite and I'll entertain it.

The LSU UT game this year
The Ole Miss Bama game this year
The Arky Auburn game this year
The Arky Florida game last year
those are 4 very important games. Now what?

Circumstantial bullshite. I said hard evidence. Taped admissions, secret memos, incriminating bullshite.
With what you've provided, I could just as easily point to inept officiating as I could a conspiracy. You've proven nothing.
This is a waste of time.

Did I say I have a freaking conspiracy theory?
Those calls are bull shite the only thing that would explain it is that and if they ever do have that evidence then you will not have to worry about because we will not have an SEC to call ourselves a part of.
What do you want them to bug the offices? Tap the lines and launch an FBI investigation?
Come to think of it that sounds like a good idea. Cause if they are doing it to influence lines then that is racketeering.

When you talk about the SEC office giving a clear advantage to teams in particular circumstances, then yes. You're talking about the textbook fricking definition of a conspiracy. That's precisely what it means.

Well, don't be a stranger once you're gone. Keep in touch, brah.

That's a start. Considering the money involved here, what you're suggesting would, at the least, be fraud. It's a fricking crime. Think before you speak.

And it could be prosecuted under RICO, which would mean big time federal prison time if convictions started coming down.
The thing is, you're going to need to provide a lot more than just examples of games which fit the theory you've made in order to get anything done. You're going to have to either get off your fricking arse and do something about it, or shut the frick up and watch the games. Fans aren't as helpless as they make themselves out to be. Organize. Make a fricking difference. I'll even join you, even though the SEC mafia benefits my team all the time, I think.
Whatever you do, stop acting like a bitch about it.

I think everyone is missing the point. There's no need to point fingers and blame the other team cause the fact of the matter is they had nothing to do with it.
Most people, I believe, would agree that it has more to do with the SEC wanting an undefeated team at the end of the regular season (and SEC Championship game)to get into the BCS Championship game. It means more money for them and the schools. It's not a conspiracy theory, it's just sense.
Arkansas would have lost without the help of officials, barely, but they would have lost. The focus should be on why the SEC is trying to buck the system, it's a fraud.

It's a sound theory, but at the end of the day, it's just that -- a theory.

Disagree to a point. The focus needs to be, at least initially, on proving this either true or untrue. If proven true, the why of it will follow in due course as part of the investigation.
My whole point is that if people are going to sling these kinds of accusations around, they need to do a lot better than this penny-ante circumstantial evidence bullshite. They need a smoking gun.

Ah, but the point is that more reasonable people may very well read what I had to say and take it to heart.

Sometimes there's enough circumstantial evidence to suggest that it may be true, or in fact that it is. It's not speculation on my part, this is a conclusion that many have come to based on what they have seen with their own two eyes. Don't forget, O.J was found not guilty. Just sayin'.

What I'm saying is that yeah, there's just enough circumstantial evidence...
...to sit around and bitch about it, to no avail, for another fricking year.
If anything is going to get done, though, someone is going to have to do some actual legwork.
