Sleeper Picks for BCS
quote:

The college game has never been more wide open. Don't automatically pencil in Alabama -- any team that loses nine starters on defense (including a handful of key leaders) will struggle in big road games, especially in the SEC. A team from the Tide's own division (Arkansas) is among a handful that could make it to Glendale, Ariz.

Picks for Heisman
quote:

Ryan Mallett, Arkansas. There's no better quarterbacks coach/play caller in the game than Bobby Petrino, and his quarterbacks usually make significant strides in their second seasons. Mallett struggled at times with accuracy last season, but he still likely would've been the first quarterback taken in this year's NFL draft had he left school. Another year under Petrino will mean big numbers and big wins for a dangerous Arkansas team -- and could move him to first pick overall in the 2011 draft.

Did Arkansas find a defense in a storage shed or something?

If you can hold 25 in a handful, then I say yes.

Still need a defense though.

I would have to go with MSU here. Petrino can suck on my left nut

The same Sporting News that said InCrompotent is the #2 QB in this draft?

SN has been going down hill ever since they changed the format magazine.

Sporting News lost credibility when they picked Auburn as their preseason #1 in 2003.

If Bama doesn't make it to the SECCG I could see Arkansa being there over the other SEC W teams. You beat Bama and LSU and your in. IMO.
