I don’t get it either. Vandy was playing really well. Unfortunately everything, work or play, is all metrics now. NET is great as a secondary resource but shouldn’t blindly follow, especially when evaluating teams in the same conference. What’s the point of conference records, conference rankings at end of the season. Just seems like with everything, the more we try to make it better the worse it seems to get. Wins and losses in conference play should still mean something.

Except - get this - we weren’t even first 4 out! And thats who gets the top seeds. So a second seed I guess unless they can figure out another way to screw us.

Nobody screwed Vandy. Your only chance to make the tourney was to win the SECT. Talking heads trying to get clicks were talking up like y'all had a chance to get an at large. It was never happening with the bad losses and metrics. It is what it is.
