Stating facts isn’t being defensive.
We were without 2 of our best outfielders, for most of the back half of the season… they happened to also be 2 of our better bats.

Yea, not great on offense. An elite defense with only 38 errors on the season. Leads the SEC in defense.
Wegner, Bohofren, and Josenberger must get going again. Josenberger and Wegner were both hitting .340+ before their injuries. Since they’ve come back, they’ve struggled mightily. Bohofren was hitting .370+ just a few weeks back and he is on the struggle bus as well hitting around .315 now.
Pitching has been great. Believe in SEC play the Hogs led the league in ERA. Four legit starters in Smith, Hollan, Tygart, and McEntire. Backend of bullpen is sketchy as hell right now with issues going on with Wood.

May seem like a troll response, but that's really the level of understanding we're at with this year's team. Nothing makes sense. They just win.
Succinctly put. I've been trying to figure out how we're winning all year long, but somehow we usually get it done.

To be fair, your hitting numbers would look a bit better if our two best hitters hadn't been out for a substantial amount of time. So we missed them when they were gone and they haven't gone back to pre-injury output yet so none of that helped.
Holt stepping in at 2B has been a big surprise so if Jose and Wegner can get going again and Ibuprofen can get going closer to how he was earlier, they could go on a run.
What we have seen though is that they can beat anyone and can also lose to anyone. Some of the midweek losses were crazy and getting swept by Georgia was...not good.

Truly, I have no idea how we've done it. Literally 3 of our top arms are done for the year.
