Nah not really. They were ranked #1 yet they could not even win their conference. Unless they make it to the final 4 which they've never done people will only remember that this was their best basketball team ever but could not win the SEC. Their baseball team got swept and their Head Football coach was very down on their defense. So no, NOT a good weekend for vols. Went from #1 in the country to being excited over a 2 seed? Come on. That's sad.

Auburn was just getting even for that embarrassing loss at home during the football season.
Auburn beat the Vols last weekend to prevent them from a share of the Regular Season Championship.
Auburn beat the Vols today to Win the SEC Tournament Championship.
Auburn swept the Vols in baseball this weekend.

As for getting beat badly by Auburn -- it's basketball shite happens. I'm enjoying the W over UK and a sweet 2 seed bracket.

Have hardware from last year and that 2 seed sets us up to bring home banners. This was a should-win game but I knew after the UK game that we'd lose. We spent everything on that game and Auburn is a bad matchup for us. The only thing that surprised me was how lopsided the game was.
