If he cant get us to a bowl game he wont be going anywhere and other schools wont hire a guy with a losing record.

Even if his losing record is at state 601? You don't think they'll look at his "body of work" and hire him away?

Right...and Jordan Jefferson is a better quarterback than Drew Brees.

The fact that Orgeron recruited and landed McCluster, by itself, disproves that theory as he is the sole reason that Ole Miss has enjoyed the level of success that is has over the last two years.

Awesome. Wrong again. One of the assistants landed McCluster, Orgeron thought he was too small for the SEC...

Aubrun disagrees with you. I think the national belief that Starkville is a coaching hellhole also speaks to the inaccuracy of your thought process.

Nick Saban might be able to win in Starkville consistently...

I fully expect to get accused of being "obsessed" because I am an arky fan but will someone please explain to me how OM and others are still defending Nutt and his recruiting while you are losing to J state and are picked to finish last in the SEC west (and thus far are certainly living up to those preseason expectations). As all of this is happening, the remaining Ed O's kids are leaving while more of Nutt's are making up the roster. Do OM fans see a drastically better team next year

It was about the fact that Masoli looks like a sandlot quarterback as is.

He's leading the nation in YPA.
He's 10th in QB efficiency. You have not watched us play yet.

I see Ole Miss as a below average SEC team right now. Nutt did a very good job the 1st few years, but there is NO EXCUSE for losing to a FCS school. I still think that you might upset an Auburn, LSU, or even Arkansas, but at the end of the season, I would be very surprised to see you winning more than 3 SEC games.

He has played against Jacksonville State and Tulane. I wouldnt quite anoint Masoli as an elite SEC QB when he is yet to have faced a SEC defense.

We play Mississippi State, Vandy, Kentucky and Auburn at home.

We also draw Tennessee on the road.

Our coach is good at pulling massive upsets.

Four sec wins is very possible.

Ryan Mallet hasn't played an SEC defense either.

Here's the deal. If we were throwing the ball against Jacksonville St. and Tulane instead of running into 8 man boxes, we'd be averaging 50 points a game right now. We've been intentionally holding the offense back against Tulane and Jax St, and it's really hurt the results of those games.

I agree, but I also know that Nutt has a history of losing to teams that he should beat as well. You all could win 4-5 games...anything can happen and you do have some talent, but I think 2-3 wins is pretty realistic this year. Not flaming...just my opinion.

You cant be serious

You believe that Nutt is holding back the offense and yall could be scoring 50 points a game.

If we win two I will be calling for Nutt's head. It will be completely unacceptable after losing to Jacksonville St. Our team is not that bad. Our team is a lot better than our results show.

I can certainly live with three. Two, and I'll be flying banners over the Vaught.
