Why does Les keep turning 4* and 5* defensive lineman in high school into offensive line projects?
Only Les and people close to the team can answer that. A lot of the guys may not have the speed to play on the defensive side of the ball. I really do not know though.

LSU's offensive line is full of 4 and 5 star players. The problem is coaching, not only during the games, but in developing and getting the most out of talented players. And the fans are in denial about this.

I've never been a fan of JJ. If you need to get 80 yards in 2 minutes, he will not be able to do it. Call me crazy, but I think Lee deserves a shot.

Didn't Lester say this is his best OL he has ever had?

It's the coaching staff IMO. Miles in particular. They obviously have talent on the roster. They just don't run an offensive scheme to maximize that talent. I think Jefferson has plenty of talent, but he isn't an I formation drop back passer. If they put him in shotgun all the time and ran a lot of spread formations I think your offense would improve dramatically. Your interior O-line just isn't big/strong enough to run the ball up the gut and be consistently successful. There's way too much talent on that team. At some point the blame has to fall on the coaches for not putting the players in a position to succeed.

Discipline. Leadership. Direction.
LSU seems to lack in all three of these. You clear up these three and rest will take care of itself.

1.Head Coach
2. OC
3. Qb
I think that because of last year the HC and OC are afraid to let JJ loose. They do not want to lose games because of picks. Or maybe JJ really is not a bright player. I do not know, but it looks like JJ only throws deep balls or passes to wide open receivers. That is fear in my opinion.
