Danielson just tried to use the transitive theory to say that ND isn't very good.

LSU beat A&M, A&M beat Bama, Bama beat LSU...that's why the transitive theory doesn't work

Okay. Like I said he's not perfect, but it's hard not to make a dumb comment or two over a 3.5 hour broadcast.

To be fair, I like Danielson. He just tends to stick to one point and dickride it for an entire 4 hour broadcast.

But, he's better than most of the analysts out there.

Difference is those teams are good and the games were close.

GT and USC suck.

Especially when that 3.5 hours is spent next to Verne.

Danielson isn't terrible. That being said, Verne isn't very good. He consistently doesn't know the players and he will make MANY announcing errors.

I personally don't like the excessive amount of joking around that Verne and Gary do. I don't mind announcers having a bit of fun, but they do it to the point where it detracts from the coverage of the game, which bothers me.

My favorite announcing duo is Blackledge and Nessler.

To be fair, they are all bad. When Vern, Danielson, and Wolf are gone I might be able to put up with the 5 hours of commercials by CBS.

I would like to take this time to formally thank USC for causing me the embarrassment of being one of their fans. I've never been more ashamed to call the Trojans my favorite team. Totally classless organization now thanks to that cancer Kiffin. They truly deserve all of the jeers of derision they are now receiving on this board.

Turning my attention now to my 2nd favorite (soon to be favorite) team, the LSU Tigers.

Tried warning some Trojan 'buddies' of mine on ESPN blog about Kiffin. To be publicly castigated by an NFL team then a major CFB team should have been a warning signal. Didn't Monte leave? Or is about to?

P.S.

CBS did a best plays of the year segment today and the intro was basically a running 'Quotable Les'. Embrace The Hat.

Less chance for Verne to yell "OH MY GAWSH!"
