Look dude, just calm down. There will more than likely be a rematch. LSU is not afraid of Bama and the LSU fans are not afraid of the game. I personally think LSU beats bama again. What most fans do not agree with is bama getting the same shot at winning the title as LSU when LSU has done more.

Could someone explain to me how "the country" doesn't want a rematch when ...all 3 polls in the BCS... have Alabama ranked #2. That includes the computers which supposedly take eveything into account and BOTH human polls. Funny how "no one" wants to see a rematch. It may not happen, but it appears to me that someone wants to see it.
Do you eat the horse you beat to death...???

1) 1/3 of the BCS is a computer poll. They aren't people in this country.
2) There are maybe a few hundred people voting in the other 2 polls. That is probably like .005% of our Nation's population.
If you are really arguing that 2 small polls reflect the nation's opinion as a whole, well then I don't really know what to say to you.
ETA: for accuracy there are 31 coaches that vote and 115 Harris voters. The US population is estimated to be 312,697,000.
The voters make up .000046% of the population.

Answer this. How can you be the best team in the country when you weren't the best team in your division or your conference. Also Oklahoma State's resume is better. Bama has 3 wins over teams with a winning record. OSU has 6 wins over teams with winning records. It's amazing how you humps think you DESERVE a shot. There is a reason only once has a team not won their conference and played in the BCSCG.

You do realize teams have been jumped before on the last week of the season, right? And there are several pollsters on record saying they will do just that if Okie State wins? And Okie State only needs 15 total pollsters between both polls to put them at #2 in order to make it into the BCSCG provided they are a unanimous #3?
In the history of the BCS, the second ranked team that didn't play on the last weekend has went on to play in the BCSNCG the last 5 times. I realize we could get jumped by OSU but the odds are not in their favor even if they beat OU.

News flash:
Oklahoma St has played 11 games (5 ranked wins)
Alabama has played 12 games (2 ranked wins)
It seems really unfair to compare a team with 11 games and a team with 12 games. If Oklahoma st wins, they without a doubt have the better resume (and thus the better argument). If OSU wins and VT loses, OSU is probably in. Probably not happening.

Twice. OU and Neb both lost their CCG and still played for the NC.

About to be three times with all three losing. Seems to be a nice trend.

Yet, as far as I am aware, no team has ever played for the BCSCG and NOT represented their conference in the CCG.
I just hope that Clemson and Oklahoma St take care of business to prevent an abortion of a rematch (that LSU would win anyways).

What ranked teams have they beaten? I thought they only had wins over 2 current ranked teams (Baylor and UT).

That is correct. We'll see what happens this weekend. If OSU wins, I'll have no problem being jumped by them because they're the only 1 loss team that could rival our resume.

5 ranked wins with a win over a top-10 team.
#11 Kansas St
#17 Baylor
#22 Texas
#25 Missouri
#10 Oklahoma (TBD)
