That's not entirely true. Michoud built the tanks and framework that held the propellant and oxidizer for the Saturn V rocket (Stage S-1C). The F-1 engines that powered the S-1C stage was built by Rocketdyne in Canoga Park, CA, under the technical direction from Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville.
And again, to be technically correct, that is not a "booster" rocket at all but a "STAGE" section of a larger rocket. Very different philosophy in design.
