We won the east in 2011, 2012, and just won it this year.
When was the last time UGA won the Conference?

I'm a Georgia fan and I really can't argue the point. We have not done much other than 80-82. We are considered a top 15 program throughout our history. We have a bunch of 10 win seasons and are in the upper half of the sec in conference championships. From a national level we don't have an elite resume. We have a very good resume, but not elite. I do have the feeling this is about to change. I believe we will be an elite program for the next 5 plus years. 2018 we may take a step back. Still win the east and be a tough out for anyone, but not elite. From 2019 on, it's going to be damn tough for anyone to beat the Dawgs. Things can and probably will change. If this thing keeps going in the direction it's headed, we will be one of the standards in college football.

Eight Ball says answer unclear... ask again on the evening of December 2nd.

In the mean time, how many times have you finished the regular season with a losing record in the last decade? Also, please confirm that Auburn has finished one season in their history with zero total wins, and multiple seasons (other than 2012) with zero conference wins. That seems impossible for such a historic program.

No need. You still won’t have won the SEC in a decade.

Georgia, in my mind is the best state for talent in the country.
It feels like the best of the best reside there and the fact that it can go toe to toe with California, Florida and Texas with a fraction of the population speaks volumes.

As much as I can't stand the barn,, I am beginning to dislike UGA fans more. Just too arrogant!

I haven't met many arrogant uga fans. Generally shite has crashed down as soon as we've started to feel good about things. This year does feel different though.

We have had a losing record in the last decade. We have also won two Conf. Championships in the last decade. We have also won a NC and played for another.........in the last decade. UGA loses no matter how you slice it up.

Except if you compare the teams record against each other... 9 of the last 11... or collectively which is the more winning program over the past decade... or several other ways...
Auburn is a roller coaster ride that I don't think I'd be able to handle... given our current trajectory, I'll pass. Ask me again in a few years if I'd trade... might change my mind, but I doubt it.

Well, if the SEC is a one game season, then UGA wins. Teams are judged on Championships..............unless they don't win them then they go looking for other ways to judge their program.

Teams are judged on their season on the whole... on a consistent basis, UGA has been a better program over the past 10 years... Auburn has higher highs and lower lows... make of that what you will.

UGA plays in the easier Division. You rarely play either LSU or bama. In fact.......year in and year out, Auburn plays the toughest Conference schedule of anybody.
ETA name another school who plays LSU, bama, and UGA every single year.

You went 0-8 in conference play in 2012 including a loss to Vanderbilt... that has frick all to do with your division. It's not the rest of the East schools fault that traditional powers UT and UF can't pull their head out of their arse regarding their coaching hires...

Hard to disagree with the OP
The dawgs play second fiddle in their own metro area to GA Tech
I would be embarrassed as a dawgs fan

If you're not embarrassed by what you post on these boards on a routine basis, I'm not sure there is anything that would embarrass you. Ignorance is indeed bliss I suppose.

The same can be said about you.
You are propping up UGA's mediocrity and cherry picking bad years for Auburn. Every single UGA fan would take Auburn's last decade over UGA's. You are lying if you say otherwise. Hell, every SEC fanbase, except for bama, would take the last decade Auburn has had.

Name the program with the most recent national title and the most total national titles in college football from the Atlanta metro
Go!
