You realize it's because we had the best run game in SEC history and it only worked like that because of Marshall's legs. Also, who is going to play the Corey Grant role next year?
I say move Rudy Ford back to offense for this role in particular.

I've melted for several days. Sux to drop 44 and get blown out. Only reason my melt has slowed is because someone got fired the next day.

Do not compare LSU melts to Bama melts bro. Not even close. Tigah fans are still melting.
The standard by which all other melts are compared.

The melt from such a loss would be well deserved. Who would blame us? and admit it, you would enjoy every minute of it.

Dammit people... loose is "not tight" .... lose is "not winning". Get it right.

Let me say this, I want Kerryon Johnson on defense. He's an exceptional player anywhere on the field, and a lot of teams recruited him to play safety. We can land pretty much any running back we want under Gus Malzahn, as Auburn has already had 3, 5* running backs come because of him (Mike Dyer, Jovon Robinson and Racean Thomas - with Kerryon Johnson being a high 4*).
I think Kerryon Johnson would thrive on a defense coached by Will Muschamp, assuming we are able to get him.

quote:Auburn fans' reasoning for melting this year have mainly resided around the fact that our defense has played terrible, been very inconstant and unreliable, and very undisciplined... They are the reason Auburn lost to Alabama, Texas A&M and Mississippi State (Auburn quit against Georgia) Now that Ellis Johnson is gone and Gus Malzahn is going after Will Muschamp, there's really nothing to be upset about.
No melt from auburn.
Auburn's offense was unreal in the Iron Bowl and torched one of the best defenses in the country. Auburn put up 44 points, had over 600 total yards, had Nick Marshall set the all-time passing yardage record, had Sammie Coates over 200 yards and Duke Williams over 100 yards, and so forth. Alabama hasn't been able to slow down Gus Malzahn's offense since he became a head coach, and we are an average defense (at worst) away from being national champions...or at least in the college football playoff.
