I didn't have to Google anything to know that all Southern states elect their prosecutors. It's common knowledge to most people.

Never said I didn't Google anything at all, I said this:

There's a reason I specified "Southern States" in that statements. Reading comprehension is a useful skill.

I think the way it probably went down was..
Cam and Hootie stopped by the park after Bible study to witness to the lost souls that hung out there when they saw a drug deal going down and decided to put their own lives at risk to prevent the drugs from getting into teenagers hands. After confiscating the stolen guns and the weed from the criminal drug dealers, the police showed up and Cam and Hootie promptly turned over the stolen gun and weed to the officer. They should be commended.
