If DePaul can make their free throws, Georgetown is out.

DePaul wins. Georgetown is officially off the bubble and out.

They weren't ever really "in" but showed up on some blind resumes recently.

Possibly out of the NIT at this point as well.

Again...I will blow the SEC trumpet. We aren't as bad as some think. What conference is SOOOO much better? Big Ten? Gimme a break...we barely lost to Wisconsin without Wilbekin playing....ACC? UT beat Vagirina the bellcow of that conference.

Don't sell us that short. Are we a powerhouse? No, but WHO is? Arizona tea has slipped, Syracuse, Ohio St, Mich State, Duke, UNC, Kansas (we beat them), Louisville all inconsistent...Memphis was beat by UF. Big 12? Are u kidding? Texas has slid down a sewer, OU is not much better than average and ditto OSU.

UT, Arkie are both very capable to hold their own against a lot of teams. I predict UGA vs UF in SECTCG. Remember, UGA is a fourth seed in the SECT and the road is easier for them playing instate.

I agree with that. The SEC isn't really that bad. The Big Ten is pretty good, but not as good as people thought it would be. The Big 12 is probably the best overall conference.

It probably goes like this:

Big 12

Big 10
Pac 12

Big East
ACC
SEC
AAC, A10

Not a whole lot of difference between any of them. Impressive that Big 12 will get 7 of 10. SEC gets kudos for having the best overall team.

Stanford struggling mightily with WSU.

Tied with 10 to go at 47.

Boring game overall.

Ways we can boost our RPI today:

SMU over Houston
Mizzou over aggy
Cal over Colorado
Minnesota over Penn State
Savannah State over Norfolk State
Clemson over Georgia Tech

They all look like good chances, except for maybe Cal beating Colorado, and I know nothing about the Savannah State matchup.

Today we're competing for the last few tourney bids. Best case scenario is Ark winning with Mizzou, Minn, and Cal losing and officially falling off the bubble. The last spot very well could come down to California or Arkansas. I'm rooting against all these teams.

Ways Mizzou's RPI Boosts. Currently at #52.

Illinois needs to beat Indiana

Arkansas needs to beat South Carolina

Long Beach State needs to beat Cal State Fullerton

Alabama needs to beat LSU

North Carolina State needs to beat Miami (Fla.)

Northwestern needs to beat Iowa

UCLA needs to beat Oregon

West Virginia needs to beat Texas

Hawaii needs to beat Northridge

Nevada needs to beat Boise State

And none of this will matter because we probably won't even beat the agsters.

I can see both sides, RPI boost or a bubble team falling off. Mizzou is barely on the bubble at all, if they beat aggy but lose to Florida they will be hoping for the NIT. If they win today they are still behind a lot of bubble teams.

Minnesota winning would help us because we beat them, if it gets down to us and Minnesota we will have the edge.

Cal could go either way, but I don't see them beating Colorado. They are on a major skid as of late.

I disagree. If I were Mizzou I'd be pulling for South Carolina over Arkansas today. We'd be one less team for ya'll to worry about. Ya'll need a few teams like us to lose so that you don't have to beat Florida to get in.

I can't disagree with you, but that scenario is simply based on what needs to happen for our RPI to increase. In reality we probably don't want West Virginia to win either...
