If Dayton loses their conference tourney game tomorrow, they are out. If St. Joe's loses their first tourney game, they are out. Only 1 of those will make it. Dayton needs to win 2, St. Joe's needs to win 1, IMO. Similiar to the Arky/Tenn situation.
Providence/St Johns and Colorado/Cal have bubble implications as well.

Oregon/Oregon St was close the last score I saw. Oregon can't lose this one.
Georgetown wasn't really pulling away from DePaul the last update as well.
Stanford still plays tonight for the insomniacs.

The loser of Providence/St. Johns is definitely out. If Providence wins I think they still need to win one more to be safe. St. John's may need to win 3 games.

That Stanford game is win or stay home for them. Call me crazy, but I'm picking the Wash State upset.

Stanford losing would be great.

Stanford loses, so does BYU and Pitt (IIRC), that was both only "good win".

Ya. Wash State has an RPI of 203.

Just playing them is going to hurt.
But it isn't like playing Carolina is going to help Arkansas.
Baylor got strapped with TCU tonight, OkSt beat TTU.

Arky and UT should be rooting for the following:
Colorado over Cal, Marquette over Xavier, St Johns over Providence(Then St. John's lose their next one), Maryland over FSU, Penn State over Minnesota, Fordham over Dayton, Creighton over Gtown
How many of those actually happen?

Ya. Stanford has to win tonight just to get to 20 wins on the season. How the hell do they have them as a 10 seed with 19 wins?

No, we beat them on a neutral site, that would only hurt us.

Creighton over Gtown
This should be a given.
Oregon 41 Oregon St. 40 at the half.

The way the RPI works and tabulates the SOS.

Wouldn't this all but eliminate Minnesota though.
And my list was for tomorrow's game and I also advanced Gtown past Depaul tonight to get to Creighton.

Arkansas loses @ Bama who has a winning home record drops damn near out of the tourney.
If that game was played in Jan, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal. But you can't lose to a 12-18 team the last game of the season, regardless of home record, and expect people to shrug it off.

I would agree, but St. Joes lost to a 14-15 LaSalle team at home that same day and moved ahead of Arkansas...
That was my point.
Every year, Lunardi and Katz saddle up to the balls of some undeserving mid-major, this year it is St. Joes.

True. Both loses were considered "bad"...nothing should've changed.
Edit: I mean, Arky should have stayed ahead of them, wherever they fell.

Yes, they are generally in the last four out.
But if it became a head to head between the two Arkansas would get in over them so a good neutral site victory is not something you want to have devalued.

In Lunardi's case its always St. Joes. As the Beach Boys say be true to your school.

I know, I'm just saying if you took their record and said it was any other team's record, he would have a sound reason as to why they do not deserve to be in the next next four out...

Yeah I'm not a big St Joes fan as far as them getting in. Not sure who I'd replace them with though. Maybe Cal if they get by Colorado.
The committee met today and sent in their choices for teams that are "in" and teams "to be considered". If you get 80% you're in. If not you move to should be considered category.
