True. Everything is just far from my end of town, and more expensive, and going out here is just different. I'm used to going to bars where everyone is 19-25 in Lexington. Here it's like 19-45. Just way different crowds.

Where do you usually go when you do go out?

I've only "been out" once in Louisville honestly and it was to Molly Malone's in the Highlands. Other than that, just sports bar type places which isn't "going out" IMO.

I know that feeling. I'll find myself sitting next to someone old enough to be my dad at a bar here.
During my 2nd senior year at Bama, more often than not I was one of the oldest people in any bar I stepped into.

True. I always had one of my fraternity brothers who's a year older than me, so I was never the oldest, but I always felt old. Other than that most of the guys we went out with were always at least couple years younger than us. It was weird sometimes then, but now I'm not sure why.

If you're looking for younger you probably need to head down to Prime or something like that.
I'm not a big club person though, so I tend to venture over the Holy Grale on Bardstown. They're getting ready to have their 12 Days of Christmas Beer with 20 rotating Christmas ales through the 24th.

Yea I don't like "club" type places at all, but I'm not into places where it's just 50 year old rednecks sitting at the bar drinking Coors and watching SportsCenter either.
I do love trying new beers though.

Last night I had Fade to Black Vol 3 by Left Hand.
Left Hand is probably my favorite brewery. They just pump out good beers all the time.

I've heard good things about them but haven't had any of theirs.
I've been a Unibroue girl as of late. Especially Maudite or Ephemere depending on my mood.
