The thing is that small dogs attack far more than Pit Bulls. The problem is that when a Pit Bulls attacks, it does more damage so people are more scared of them.
I realize you're right, logically. It's just a feeling. I will say that some little dogs can be vicious.

My dog has been attacked thrice.
2 times it was a pit. Not a huge fan.

Yep. They're irritating as hell.
Other dogs I can't stand because of the incessant yapping and failure to shut up:
Pomeranian
Scottish Terrier
Daschund
I know there's a couple of other small breeds, but those are the noisiest damn mutts.
