I walked up to an open spot at the bar to get a beer. Some 40 something year old beside me asks, "are you getting a beer"

Me: yea
Him: get in line
Me: I am in line
Him: I was here first, get behind me
Me: no. Why are you trying to be a hardass
(People think its ok to act hard to smaller people, makes them feel tough)

Later in the night I'm next up on the table for pool that he's playing at. Someone scratches, I grab the cue ball from out of the corner pocket and he flips his shite. He steps toward me screaming and my buddy grabs him, his son grabs me so I choked him.

Son: that's my dad!
Me: wtf is his problem

It gets broken up, I have like 3 different random people tell me I have to leave. My response is frick that I didn't start anything.

I'm not a hostile or controversial person. Fighting is trashy and an absolute last resort, but ill be damned if someone is going to talk to me like a dog. Anyway they left, we stayed, made new friends. Good night

I do need to drink in fairhope more often though, there are fewer seedy characters that way
