Agreed. The local sports radio saying he was wanting something like 4 million. After one year starting and him being the game manager type last season, I didn’t witness anything worth 3 or 4 million. He possesses the qualities to be great but after last season, not worth that much. The thing is, he could have taken that leap this year and shown out only to up his draft stock and make way more in the NFL than he’s “negotiating” for. Now, those bridges are kind of burned since it went public and if enters the portal, he will have to learn a whole new offense. This whole fiasco was handled poorly on both UT and Nico’s side.

Oh, I don’t disagree by any means. I mean, it speaks volumes it taking almost until midnight for his dad to say something on twitter…which most know was a fabrication. Just saying the whole situation could have been handled better on both sides.
