If your jumping from 5-7 to 9-3, that can be coaching on given years. If you’re going to 9-3 to 11-1 consistently, you can’t just get by with subpar talent.

I mean again, go look at the talent for yourself, there wasn't a dramatic jump in either case.
That said, everyone is cheating.

They were regularly in the teens. Bowden couldn’t convert that into 10 wins. Dani could. Then they took it to the next level. They were top 10 from 2015-2021 except for one season.

Of course, they were gradually building the program, by 2015, Dabo had been the head coach for 6 years.
They started investing in facilities and winning games which in turn led to success in recruiting.
That's why it wasn't "suspicious."

Saban running his mouth more and more lately. His time is coming to an end. Well I guess it had to happen at some point. No more million dollar qb's for him.

No one has any more of an opportunity to "out cheat" someone now than they did before.
People can pay recruits whatever they want, just like they always have. Just don't get caught.
