Bama doesn't have many 4 and 5* kids. News to me.

We had a hail mary at the end of the game to tie it up. We led 21-6 at one point.

I seriously wonder how some people on here even comprehend how to use the internet without injuring themselves.

They do. But Alabama also has to work to get through its conference schedule year in and year out, as does every other team with a pulse in the SEC.

Meyer hasn't lost a regular season conference game in the 3 years he's been there. That speaks to a very weak conference and a very easy schedule.

They beat Alabama on the field fair and square. But it was much harder for Alabama to get to the playoffs this year then it was for Ohio State. That's for darn sure.

It's amazing how quickly people forget that Saban ran Meyer out of this conference less than 5 years ago. He crushed Meyer in the SEC title game in '09 and crushed him in the regular season in 2010. Meyer is coaching a roster filled to the brim with 4 and 5 stars in a conference with very little parity. Let's see how he does when Jim Harbaugh has Michigan back to full strength.

He beat your team stacked with 5*s 3 deep.

With a roster stacked with 5*'s 3 deep. Does that mean that Urban Meyer can't win without talent either?

Right, but Bama outclasses every SEC school each week talent wise. The same way OSU does in the Big 10.

Not even close. There are 6 schools in the SEC that are consistently in the running to sign Top 10 classes every single year. Ohio State and Michigan are the only two teams from the Big 10 who consistently recruit at that level.

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever read... He just beat the two top ranked teams in the nation back to back with a freshman qb...

Meyer is a great coach but he walked into a perfect situation in Columbus. He basically got to start on third base.

Everyone acts as if Urban rebuilt OSU or something.

That freshman QB also has 4 and 5 star talent surrounding him, particularly on the line and at running back.

There is no other team in the Big 10 with that kind of talent.

This is not taking anything away from Urban Meyer. I'm simply saying that the title of this thread is BS considering both coaches have a TON of talent on their teams.
