I searched for it, but didn't find it.

I really don't care if it's already been posted, because it's one of the best, "speeches," I've ever heard any coach give.

Nick Saban is one of my favorite people, idgaf who he coaches.

Very well said. Some of these kids can't be helped, but a lot of them just need to be given another chance.

Did he say anything about helping the other players that were involved in that incident?

It is amazing how all the guys he feels so strongly about giving second chances to just happen to be really good football players.

The recruiting misses can be model citizens and great students at Bama, but Nick Saban doesn't seem to care that they will be walking across a stage at North Alabama or some other lesser school.

Also, if he is so into second chances why does he so very rarely offer unlimited releases to his transfers?

He makes some excellent points. The amount of criticism these kids get is incredible. Kids that age are going to make mistakes it's unavoidable.

That's a very solid follow up. I'm doing due diligence before switching feet.

Autocorrect?

Yes, he is. I started paying attention to his press conferences in the lead up to the 2013 Iron Bowl.

Football teams aside, the guy says an awful lot I agree with.

He mentioned that along with suspending the player from the program for a year or so they also had to do some other things. I think you can infer from that they had probably had to see an anger counselor and/or do hours of community service. Not ever guy is ready to do those sorts of things to change their life.

He said the others were TPOS. Pettway never touched anybody, though.

Calloway was on his second chance already but there was talk he could be heady back but never happened. Tyler Hayes would have been a player but I don't think he even tried to come back. Eddie WillIams I believe tried to go to go FAMU but is not on their roster... Some these guys were already on their second or third chance...
